Client has a lovely multi-level home on a narrow sloping block with limited views. An internal garden, originally designed as feature was proving to be
a maintenance problem, with half-dead 'live' plants being more of an eyesore than aesthetic feature. Interior Gardens was asked for ideas & costings to replace with ultra-lifelike plants.
-we designed a sculpted garden to be viewed internally thru two large picture windows in living areas.
-using a mix of lower assorted bushes & ferns by windows, with larger palms to rear to obscure air-con & ugly side retaining walls.
-contrasting foliage shapes & colours also gave design interest & vibrance. Hanging-baskets from external side of building help to hide plain walls behind.
-also on nearby decks & pool areas, combinations of our latest UV-treated Palms in planters were used
-by front door, a potentially dangerous 'fall-hazard' by side steps was protected by an attractive Bamboo trough planter, placed right at level-change.
-the end result is an 'instant' feature garden that requires little maintenance & gives internal spaces connection to outdoors. Other plantings on decks, pool areas & landings complete greenery theme, giving this unique home a relaxed, natural vibe...
