Warehouse to Head Office revamp, with a little 'green' help!
Client had converted a huge warehouse complex into their Head Office with associated cafe, functions area & processing plant [with tours!]. But while the whole stripped-back, industrial-style aesthetic worked well, it still needed some softening around reception & dining areas.
-wanting the fresh looks & convenience of low-maintenance artificial plants, they asked Interior Gardens for ideas & costings
-two built-in planters allowed us to use bold & vibrant shapes, colours & designs
-in another office area a tambour planter with a mix of 'half-live/half-dead' plants were replaced with a lush mix of green & variegated foliage
-the ceilings in warehouses are particularly ordinary, with large pipes & ducts exposed against bare roof. We hung a mixture of extra-large hanging-baskets, the lush flowing greenery really takes the eye off the background. Long chains are used to give a staggered look, adding interest.
-also used were some vibrant floral arrangements, with a mixture of tropical & native flowers & foliages to compliment surrounding greenery & decor
The end result is a really interesting space, industrial-style with stripped-back architectural details, softened & enhanced by the bold shapes & colours of planters, hanging-baskets & feature florals...
